I Help CEO Parents Scale Revenue Without Sacrificing Family Time
Former pastor, mom of 5, and recovering workaholic who learned the hard way that “hustle harder” is terrible advice.
From 2 AM Google Search to Multiple Six Figures.
2017. My husband and I were pastoring together. He got a promotion that moved us to South Carolina, and we felt the pull to leave vocational ministry.
Suddenly, he was working crazy retail hours. I was home with five kids. And we needed income.
I remember sitting on the couch at 2 AM—baby finally asleep—Googling “how to make money from home with littles.”
That’s when I discovered the online business world and learned what a virtual assistant was.
I had no business background. No entrepreneurial experience. No trust fund. Just a baby monitor, a prayer, and a lot of desperation.
I started serving clients as a VA and fell in love with the work—specifically the systems and processes behind it. I evolved from virtual assistant to operations consultant, launched a systems setup process, then a VA agency.
The business grew. Fast.
By 2022, I was running a multiple six-figure agency. Making great money. Living the “dream.”
Except I was miserable.
The Mac & Cheese Moment That Changed Everything.
Summer 2022. I was making mac & cheese for the third time that week—not because my kids love it, but because I was too exhausted to cook anything else.
My laptop was open on the counter at 7 PM. Again.
My 10-year-old daughter asked: “Mom, when are you going to be done working?”
I looked at her. Then at my laptop. Then back at her.
I had become exactly what I was trying to escape.
I left a demanding job to be MORE present. Instead, I created a business that demanded even more.
That night, I made a decision: If I couldn’t build a business that honored my family, I didn’t want the business.
So I started asking different questions:
- What if I closed my laptop at 4 PM? Every day?
- What if I stopped trying to “manage time better” and started building systems that worked WITHOUT me?
- What if I scaled my MARGIN at the same rate I scaled my REVENUE?
That’s when everything changed.
What Happened When I Stopped Hustling Harder
- Closed my laptop at 4 PM daily (non-negotiable now)
- Scaled to multiple six figures while REDUCING my working hours
- Friday afternoons became sacred time with my teens
- Never missed another bedtime story
- Built frameworks that other CEO parents could use
The Non-Negotiables That Guide Everything I Do
I’m a mom first. Five kids ages 2-14. They are the reason I do this work—and the reason I refuse to compromise on boundaries.
I close my laptop at 4 PM. Every. Single. Day. If my business can’t run without me working nights and weekends, my business is broken.
Friday afternoons are for time with my teens. It’s on my calendar like a board meeting because it IS one—a meeting with what actually matters.
I never miss morning hugs. My kids get my best energy, not my leftovers.
Sundays are OFF. Old pastor habit. I’m keeping it.
My values:
Family first doesn’t mean business last — it means building a business that SERVES your family instead of competing with it.
Boundaries aren’t limitations — they’re the framework for sustainable success.
Systems aren’t restrictive — they’re what gives you freedom
Profit without presence isn’t success — it’s just a well-paying trap.
The Frameworks & Systems That Power Everything
The 4 Growth Zones Framework
Diagnoses exactly which zone you’re stuck in — Clarity, Capacity, Systems, or Support — so you stop trying solutions that won’t work for your stage.
The ROAD Method
The proper order for scaling: Remove → Optimize → Automate → Delegate. Most people do it backwards.
Strategic Coaching & Systems Support
Business realignment and implementation support for CEO parents who need to fix the model, not just add more help.

When I'm Not Helping CEO Parents Scale
I'm usually:
- Playing pickleball with my daughter (Friday afternoons are sacred)
- Full-on soccer mom (I can get pretty loud!)
- Attempting to cook something more ambitious than mac & cheese
- Wrangling five kids through homework, sports, and general chaos
- Reading business biographies or parenting books
- Hanging with my husband who runs his own photography business
- Protecting my Sunday rest like my life depends on it
Fun facts:
- I used to be a pastor (I’m REALLY good at boundaries and REALLY bad at small talk)
- I Googled my way to six figures with zero business training
- I believe mac & cheese is a perfectly acceptable dinner
- My calendar has “morning hugs” blocked off like it’s a board meeting
- I’m a Green Bay Packer fan, through thick & thin, and I’m only 4’11”
This Work Is For CEO Parents Who Refuse to Choose
You're my people if:
- You’re making $200K-$500K+ but feel completely trapped
- You built this business to be MORE present—and somehow you’re LESS present
- You’re tired of every solution making things worse
- You refuse to believe you have to choose between profit and presence
- You’re ready to build a business that serves your family instead of competing with it
You're NOT my people if:
- You think hustle harder is the solution
- You’re looking for “hacks” or shortcuts (there are only systems)
- You’re not willing to cut revenue that’s costing too much margin
- You want a magic VA to fix everything without doing the systems work first
